Katarzyna "Kasia" Nosowska (born August 30, 1971 in Stettin ) is a Polish singer, member of the band Hey , author and columnist for various monthly magazines (including Filipinka ).

Life

Katarzyna Nosowska was born in Stettin (Polish: Szczecin), where she also attended school. At the technikum odzieżowe in Szczecin she sang in a choir and thus had her first closer contact with music. Other bands in 1987 were Szklane Pomarańcze ( glass oranges ) and then Włochaty Odkurzacz ( hairy vacuum cleaner ), Kafel , Dum dum , No Way Out and Vivid . In 1992 she founded the band Hey together with Piotr Banach, Marcin Żabiełowicz , Robert Ligiewicz and Marcin Macuk . With this band Kasia Nosowska celebrated a number of musical successes in the following years. Their son Mikołaj was born on May 22, 1996. For her musical success she has been awarded the Fryderyk (21 times), the most important Polish music prize, several times .
