Cash desk

Kassabeh , also Kössabeh or Kassab, was an Egyptian measure of length and corresponded to the rod .

The cash desk existed as a large and a small cash desk for tax reasons. The Beledi was calculated at 577.5 millimeters .

  • 1 Kassabeh (large) = 6 ⅔ Pik Beledi = 24 Tschöb'dah = 1706 Paris lines = 3.85 meters
  • 1 Kassabeh (small) = 6 ⅓ Pik Beledi = 22 Tschöb'dah = 1621 Paris lines = 3.6575 meters

The Tschöbdah was the length of a fist with an outstretched thumb.
