action

The series begins with the appearance of the magician Ogotem in a village. He is looking for the savior of Africa and finds it in the young Kassai, raised by lions. However, the village has been put under a curse by the evil god Togoum, which can only be resolved by the resurrection of a statue of Koorie, the earth goddess. Kassai goes on various journeys to find different parts of the statue across the continent. He is accompanied by the larger-than-life Leuk rabbit, who is able to speak all animal languages. In the second episode, the duo meets Princess Marana, with whom Kassai immediately falls in love. However, as a result of ingesting a magic potion, she lives in the form of a gazelle during the day and is only allowed to transform into a woman at night. Marana joins the two and together they face numerous enemies and dangers over the course of the series.

In the end, the goddess Koorie is brought back to life and the village is released from the curse, while Kassai marries Marana, who is also permanently human, and also solves the mystery of his origins.
