The box house in Beilngries , a town in the Upper Bavarian district of Eichstätt , was built around 1450. The box house at Hauptstrasse 14 is a protected monument .

The free-standing two-storey steep roof building with a stepped gable and a gable facing the street facade was rebuilt in the 17th century. The interior was gutted in 1975 and has been used as the guest house ever since .
