Katharina Maehrlein (born August 2, 1965 in Bensheim an der Bergstrasse ) is a German author and editor , business coach and speaker.

Life

After graduating from high school on the second educational path at the Ketteler-Kolleg in Mainz and training as an occupational therapist , Maehrlein first worked in the Vitos Klinik Rheinhöhe for child and adolescent psychiatry before starting her own business as a freelance consultant, speaker, trainer and coach in 1996. Since then she has been working with people and in companies on the topics of resilience , mindfulness and professional stress management . Since 2012 she has written and edited several books on these topics. Katharina Maehrlein has two grown daughters and two granddaughters.
