Katharine Houghton (* 10. March 1945 in Hartford as Katharine Houghton Grant ) is an American actress .

life and career

Katharine Houghton comes from the famous Houghton family of New England . Her mother Marion was the younger sister of Katharine Hepburn . Katharine Houghton closed the Sarah Lawrence College with a master's degree in philosophy and gave her film debut in 1967 in the film Guess Who's Coming to Dinner by Stanley Kramer . For her portrayal of the film daughter of (her real aunt) Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy , she received a nomination for the Golden Globe Award for Best Young Actress . However, her cinema career did not go on as it had started promisingly. She mainly played theater, wrote and translated plays and was last seen on the screen as grandmother in 2010 as a grandmother in the adventure film The Legend of Aang by M. Night Shyamalan .

Katharine Houghton has been married to actor Ken Jenkins since 1970 . You have three children.
