Katherine L. Jansen
Katherine Ludwig Jansen (* 1957 ) is an American historian.
Life
She earned a BA from New York University in 1988, Summa Cum Laude, an MA from Princeton University in 1990 and attended Scuola Vaticana di Paleografia, Diplomatica e Archivistica (1992–1993). After the Ph.D. at Princeton University in 1995 she teaches at Catholic University of America (Ordinary Professor since 2012, Associate Professor 2000–2012, Assistant Professor 1995–2000).
Her research interests are medieval Italy, medieval women and gender, and religious and cultural history.
