Katherine V. Forrest

Katherine V. Forrest (born April 20, 1939 in Windsor , Ontario ) is a Canadian writer .

From 1984 to 1994 Forrest was the editor and editor of the largest and oldest lesbian publisher in Florida, Naiad Press . She is best known for the novels about the heroine Kate Delafield , a homicide detective. So far she has received five awards at the Lambda Literary Awards , arguably the most important gay and lesbian literary prize in the USA.
