Kathinka Zapf

Kathinka Zapf (born December 19, 1869 in Stuttgart ; † 1944 ) was a German music teacher and singer .

Life

Zapf studied piano and music theory in Wiesbaden with Hugo Riemann from 1892 to 1895 and singing with the opera singer August Zapf (1826-1910). From 1895 she worked there as a private teacher for piano and singing. From 1897 to 1925 she was the soprano in the synagogue in Wiesbaden.
