Kathleen Ann Roberts Homstad (* 17th November 1951 in Miles City , Utah as Kathleen Ann Roberts ) is a former American luger .

Life

In 1968, at the age of 16, Roberts-Homstad first took part in the Winter Olympics in Grenoble , France . In the women's single-seater she finished 14th. In her career she competed a total of three times at the Winter Olympics. 1972 in Sapporo , Japan and in 1976 in the Austrian Innsbruck she reached the ranks 15 and 21st

At the Luge World Championships in 1970 , she finished eighth, making her the best-placed US woman at world championships.

She was also six times national champion and sled to seven championship titles at the North American Championships.

After finishing her active career, Roberts-Homstad studied at the University of Montana . She lives with her family in Goleta , California .
