Kathleen McGowan

Kathleen McGowan (born March 22, 1963 in Hollywood , Los Angeles ) is an American writer .

Life

McGowan completed her school days in Hollywood and studied in Los Angeles. After graduating, she worked in various professions for some time until she successfully debuted with her novel The Expected One in 2006. Since then she has lived as a freelance writer in her hometown.

On September 22, 2011 she married Philip Coppens (1971–2012), with whom she a. a. produced the series The Spirit Revolution for an internet radio station.

The protagonist of her Magdalenen trilogy is Maureen Paschal, an American journalist whose work runs through all three volumes. In addition, each volume deals with a different historical figure: Maria Magdalena , Mathilde von Tuszien , Lorenzo de 'Medici .

In addition to her own works, she wrote a. a. for the Celtic rock band Finn MacCool (named after the mythical hero Fionn mac Cumhaill ) many songs.
