The Catholic parish church of Trieben is located on the main square of the municipality of Trieben in the Liezen district in Styria . The Roman Catholic parish church , consecrated to the apostle Andreas , belongs to the Admont dean's office in the Graz-Seckau diocese . The church is a listed building ( list entry ).

The new parish church was built from 1961 to 1963 according to the plans of the architect Hans Beckers . The glass windows were created according to designs by the painter Notburga Beckers and were made by the Schlierbach Abbey glass workshop .

The altar cross and the tabernacle were created by the metal sculptor Hanns Angerbauer . The sculptor Gottfried Prabitz created the statues of saints in niches on the altar wall . The statue of the Virgin Mary was created by Leo Bäumler (1965). Franz Weiss created the Way of the Cross . The triptych Pope John Paul II was created by Roelof Rene Stakvis.

There is a Gothic glass painting of St. Andreas from the second half of the 15th century on loan from the Universalmuseum Joanneum .
