Catholic rectory (Velten)

The Catholic rectory is a monument in the town of Velten in the Oberhavel district in the state of Brandenburg .

Architecture and history

The construction of the building erected in 1903 at Schulstrasse 11 is related to the Catholic St. Joseph Church built in 1895 at Schulstrasse 7 . At that time there was a Catholic parish of around 200 people. Organizationally, this is now part of the Hennigsdorf parish and is affiliated with the Oranienburg dean's office in the Archdiocese of Berlin .

The two-storey building with its five axes is made of solid brick and has a gable roof .
