Kathrine Maaseide (born December 18, 1976 in Stavanger ) is a Norwegian beach volleyball player .

Kathrine Maaseide and her partner Susanne Glesnes won the silver medal at the 2004 European Championships in Timmendorfer Strand and also represented her country at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens . In 2005 Kathrine Maaseide started with Kristine Wiig, but from 2006 again with Susanne Glesnes, with whom she again took part in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing for her home country Norway. After Glesnes retired, Maaseide played alongside Janne Kongshavn in 2009. After a baby break in 2010, Maaseide returned to the FIVB World Tour in 2011 with Ingrid Tørlen as a partner .

Kathrine's brother Bjørn Maaseide is also a successful Norwegian beach volleyball player.
