Katia Iacuzzo

Katia Iacuzzo (born August 3, 1975 ) is a former Italian weightlifter .

Career

Iacuzzo took eleventh place in the class up to 67.5 kg at the 1992 World Championships . At the European Championships in 1994 she was seventh in the class up to 64 kg. In 1995 she was eighth at the European Championships and eleventh at the World Championships . At the European Championships in 1996 she reached fourth place and at the World Championships in 1996 she was again eleventh.

In 1997 Iacuzzo was fourth in the duel at the European Championships and won the silver medal in the tear. At the 1998 World Championships , she reached eighth place. In 1999 she was sixth at the European Championships. At the European Championships in 2000 she was fifth in the push, but in the snatch she had no valid attempt. In 2004 she was banned for 15 months for a doping rule violation .
