1996 World Weightlifting Championships
The 10th World Weightlifting Championships for women took place from May 3rd to 11th, 1996 in the Polish capital Warsaw . 102 weightlifters from 24 nations took part in the competitions held by the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) in single combat (snatch and push) .
