1954 World Weightlifting Championships

The 31st world weightlifting championships took place from October 7th to 10th, 1954 in the Austrian city ​​of Vienna . 100 weightlifters from 23 nations took part in the competitions held by the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) in a three-way fight (two-armed pushing, tearing and pushing) .
