1970 World Weightlifting Championships

The 44th Men's Weightlifting World Championships were held from September 12 to 20, 1970 in the US city ​​of Columbus , Ohio . 129 weightlifters from 28 nations took part in the three-way (push, tear and push) competitions held by the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) .
