1959 World Weightlifting Championships

The 35th World Weightlifting Championships took place from September 29 to October 4, 1959 in the Polish city ​​of Warsaw . 85 weightlifters from 19 nations took part in the competitions held by the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) in a three-way fight (two-armed pushing, tearing and pushing) .
