1974 World Weightlifting Championships

The 48th Men's Weightlifting World Championships took place from September 21 to 29, 1974 in the Philippine capital Manila . 143 weightlifters from 32 nations took part in the competitions held by the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) in one-on-one (snatch and push) .
