1966 World Weightlifting Championships

The 41st World Weightlifting Championships took place from October 25 to 31, 1966 in East Berlin , German Democratic Republic . 117 weightlifters from 28 nations took part in the competitions organized by the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) .
