1953 World Weightlifting Championships

The 30th World Weightlifting Championships took place from August 26th to 30th, 1953 in the Swedish city ​​of Stockholm . 70 weightlifters from 19 nations took part in the competitions held by the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) in a three-way fight (two-armed pushing, tearing and pushing) .
