World Weightlifting Championships 1938
The 24th World Weightlifting Championships were held from 21 to 23 October 1938 in the after the annexation of Austria in the German Reich town of Vienna instead. 38 weightlifters from eleven nations took part in the three-way competition (two-armed pushing, tearing and pushing) held by the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) .
