World Weightlifting Championships 1937

The 23rd world weightlifting championships took place from September 10th to 12th, 1937 in the French capital Paris . 50 weightlifters from ten nations took part in the competitions held by the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) in a three-way fight (two-armed pushing, tearing and pushing) .
