1950 World Weightlifting Championships

The 28th world weightlifting championships took place from October 13th to 15th, 1950 in the French capital Paris . 56 weightlifters from 17 nations took part in the competitions held by the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) in a three-way battle (two-armed pushing, tearing and pushing) .
