World Weightlifting Championships 1898

The 2nd world championships in weightlifting took place from July 31st to August 1st, 1898 in the cisleithan capital Vienna . Eleven weightlifters from three nations took part in the competitions organized by the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) .
