World Weightlifting Championships 1949

The 27th World Weightlifting Championships took place from September 4th to 6th, 1949 in the Dutch city ​​of Scheveningen . 38 weightlifters from thirteen nations took part in the three-way competition (two-armed pushing, tearing and pushing) held by the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) .
