Anal Stench is a Polish death metal band from Krakow , which was founded in 2001, disbanded in 2006 and has been active again since 2012. Members of the band were or are active in other bands such as Thy Disease , Decapitated , Crionics , Skeptic , Virgin Snatch and Serpentia .
history
The band was formed in November 2001. The first local appearances followed. After the group had developed enough songs, they went to the Jaro Home Studio in March 2002 to record the Koprofag 997 demo . Through the demo, the band reached a contract with Metal Mind Productions in October 2002 . In early 2003, the band went back to the studio to record their debut album. Before the recordings, drummer Krystian "Pinocchio" Iwaszko had left the band and was replaced by Maciej "Alizee666" Kowalski. After the album was released under the name Stench Like Six Daemons , various appearances followed, including at Metalmania 2003 and together with Cannibal Corpse in Katowice . In 2004 the line-up of the band changed again: guitarist Michał "War-AN" Skotniczny and drummer Kowalski were replaced by Grzegorz "Grysik" Bryła and Jakub "Cloud" Chmura. Futrzak joined the line-up as bass player. In addition, singer Michał "Psycho" Senajko left the band and was replaced by Łukasz "Zielony" Zieliński, while Wojciech "Pig" Wąsowicz was added as another singer. Towards the end of the year, the band returned to the Jaro Home Studio. after the band had signed a contract with Empire Records , the album Red Revolution was released . In 2006 the band announced the work on their next album Harem Crischna . The band consisted of the singers Zieliński, Senajko and Sebastian "Syrus" Syroczyński, the guitarists Dariusz "Yanuary" Styczeń and Bryła, the bassist Futrzak, the keyboardist Wacław "Vac-V" Borowiec and the drummer Chmura. However, the band broke up that same year without having released the album. The band has been active again since 2012.
style
According to Anzo Sadoni from Metal Hammer, the band plays classic Death Metal on Stench Like Six Demons , comparable to the works of groups like Morbid Angel , Hypocrisy , Vader and Cannibal Corpse . However, the texts and the samples used occasionally are pointless.
