Ali Mirzaei (born January 28, 1929 in Tehran , † July 18, 2020 Persian علی ميرزائی) Was an Iranian weightlifter and participants in the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki .

After winning the silver medal at the 1951 World Championships in Milan , he was one of the Iranian athletes who took part in the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki. Before these games, he set a new world record in Tehran: 128.5 kg in the push . At the Olympic Games in Helsinki he was third behind his compatriot Mahmoud Namdjou with a total of 300 kg and thus won the bronze medal.

Ali Mirzaei also won a silver medal at the Asian Games in New Delhi in 1951 and another bronze medal at the 1954 World Cup, which was held in Vienna .
