Katja Pahl
Katja Pahl , also Käthe Pahl (born January 19, 1919 ) is a German film actress .
Life
Katja Pahl came to German film in 1936 and made her feature film debut in EW Emo's musical film Drei Mäderl around Schubert at the side of Paul Hörbiger . Initially only minor roles, she was soon able to draw the attention of a broad audience with more important supporting roles: Among other things, she mimed the soubrette in Karl Hartl's love comedy Gastspiel im Paradies , in which Hilde Krahl embodies the owner of a hotel, and the burglar Assy in Peter Paul Brauer strip I'll be right back . She also played a small role in the propaganda film People in the Storm , which Fritz Peter Buch directed for Tobis Filmkunst GmbH in midsummer 1941 and which can be seen "as a National Socialist tendency piece in connection with the German attack on Yugoslavia (April 1941)". After Walter Felsenstein's comedy A Gust of Wind , which is based on a play by Giovacchino Forzano and in which she can be seen as one of the tenants, she ended her film career. Even after the end of World War II , she no longer appeared on the screen.
