Katja Rathje-Hoffmann
Katja Rathje-Hoffmann (born June 12, 1963 in Bad Segeberg ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament .
education and profession
After completing secondary school in 1979 in Norderstedt , Katja Rathje-Hoffmann attended the vocational school for business assistants, also in Norderstedt, until 1980. In the same year she began training as a radio and television technician in Bad Segeberg, which she completed in 1984. She then worked as an audio / video technician in Norderstedt, Kaltenkirchen and Hamburg until 2001.
Katja Rathje-Hoffmann is an Evangelical Lutheran, married and has three children.
politics
In 1990 Rathje-Hoffmann joined the CDU. From 1994 to 2001 she was a community representative in Nahe and a member of the school association. Since 2001 she has been a member of the CDU district executive and from 2003 to 2013 she was a member of the district council. Also from 2003 until 2006 she was the social policy spokeswoman for the CDU district parliamentary group. In 2006 she became chairwoman of the planning and environment committee and since 2009, after leaving this office, she has been deputy CDU district chairman. In addition, the Women's Union elected her as deputy state chairman in 2009 and has been state chairman since 2011. Rathje-Hoffmann has been the local chairwoman of the CDU Norderstedt since 2015.

Katja Rathje-Hoffmann was elected to the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament for the first time in 2009 for the 17th electoral term. There she was a deputy member of the environmental, agricultural and economic committees. From 2009 to 2012 she was also a member of the Social Committee and Chair of the Petitions Committee. In addition, she was a member of the Study Commission for North German Cooperation from 2010 to 2012 .
In 2012 she was re-elected as a direct candidate for the 18th electoral term and as deputy group leader. She has been a member of the social committee and chairwoman of the social working group since 2012 . In addition, Rathje-Hoffmann was a deputy member in the committee for the preparation of the election of the members of the state constitutional court, in the education committee and in the petitions committee in the 18th electoral term. From 2016 to 2017 she was also the chairwoman of the first parliamentary committee of inquiry Friesenhof for the 18th electoral term. Rathje-Hoffmann is currently deputy parliamentary group leader and chairwoman of the social policy group of the CDU parliamentary group and thus its social policy spokeswoman. She is a member of the Social Committee and a deputy member of the committee for cooperation between the states of Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg, which was founded on November 17, 2016.
In 2010 Rathje-Hoffmann became a member of the CDU state executive and was deputy state chairwoman from 2012 until the state party conference on November 19, 2016.
In the 2017 state elections , Katja Rathje-Hoffmann once again entered the state parliament with 36.2 percent of the first votes as directly elected member of the Norderstedt constituency for the 19th electoral term.
Social Commitment
Katja Rathje-Hoffmann is socially committed as a member of the rural women’s association , the ski association , the sports club , the Norderstedter fire brigade museum support association , as a passive member of the volunteer fire brigade and the joint association council .
