Katrin Grüber

Katrin Grüber (born November 20, 1957 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ).

After graduating from high school in 1976, Grüber studied the teaching subjects biology and chemistry in Tübingen from 1976 to 1987 and received his doctorate in biology in 1987 ( trophogenic principles of reproduction in corn aphids ). From January to July 1988 she was employed by the city cleaning office in Stuttgart and from August 1988 to May 1990 she was environmental officer at the state association of North Rhine-Westphalia of the Green Party.

Grüber was a member of the eleventh and twelfth state parliaments of North Rhine-Westphalia from 1990 to 2000 . She entered the state parliament via her party's state list.

Today Grüber is the head of the Institute for People, Ethics and Science gGmbH (IMEW) in Berlin. Since November 2015 she has been a member of the Advisory Board of the Association of German Scientists (VDW eV)
