Katrin Hamann (born May 23, 1988 ) is a German television actress .

Career

Hamann came to television as an amateur actress . She gained fame in 2011 through her role as Peggy Möller in the scripted reality series Berlin - Day & Night . In the series she plays a former beautician who was in a relationship with the series character Joe ( Lutz Schweigel ). Hamann has been part of the main cast of the series without interruption since 2011. In July 2020, the television magazine TV Movie reported on a possible exit by Hamann after her character Peggy Möller was badly disfigured by a fire. In the series, Hamann embodies the type of blonde who is always perfectly styled and made up ; her long blond hair is recognizable.

Hamann has been criticized several times by Berlin - Tag & Nacht fans because of her figure and weight . In October 2015 there was a shit storm on their Facebook page because of this . Her successful attempt to lose weight with a diet and fitness app developed by Lutz Schweigel and his business partner Danièl Krohn , which also contains elements from boxing and MMA , was reported several times in the tabloid press .
