Katrin Splitt

Katrin Splitt (born August 11, 1977 ) is a German rowing athlete; she took part in the 2012 Summer Paralympic Games in London.

Katrin Splitt is a disabled athlete. She comes from Berlin, the city where she also devoted herself to rowing. Her discipline was the mixed foursome with a helmsman. As a taxwoman in her club, she was so successful that she was appointed to the German national team. With the German rowing team, she took part in the 2012 Paralympic Summer Games in London as taxwoman of the LTA Mixed Foursome with taxwoman and won in the cast Anke Molkenthin , Astrid Hengsbach , Tino Kolitscher , Kai Kruse and her as taxwoman in the time of 3 : 21.44 a silver medal behind the British crew.

For this success, she and the team were awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf by Federal President Gauck on September 1, 2012 .
