Kaveh Mehrabi

Kaveh Mehrabi ( Persian کاوه مهرابی; * May 5, 1982 in Tehran ) is a professional Iranian badminton player and was a participant in the 2008 Summer Olympics .

In 2003, Mehrabi went to Copenhagen , where he became the first professional Iranian badminton player at the International Badminton Academy . Mehrabi took part in the Badminton World Championships 2007 ( BWF World Championships ) in singles, but where he was defeated in the first round by Dicky Palyama from the Netherlands with 21-15 and 21-13. His best place in the world rankings was 59th place. In 2007 he won the South Africa International .
