Kawakubo Nobuzane
Kawakubo Nobuzane ( Japanese 河 窪 信 実 ) or Takeda Nobuzane ( 武田 信 実 ); † June 29, 1575 ( traditionally : Tenshō 3/5/21) was a samurai of the Sengoku period and a member of the Takeda clan.
He served under Takeda Shingen and was his younger half-brother.
Life
youth
Born as the son of the daimyo of the province Kai Takeda Nobutora in the Sengoku period , he was given his family name Kawakubo due to the origin of his mother, whose name is unknown, from a village of the same name in this area. At the age of 15 he joined the notorious cavalry of the Takeda troops, commanded 15 horsemen and 313 rons and was responsible for defending the access to Karisaka in the Musashi province . Later he led a feudal "police" unit of 200 horsemen and several foot troops.
Adulthood
With the death of his brother Matsuo Nobukore, who was under Shingen's command, in 1571, Kawakubo's son Nobutoshi Matsuo's daughter married and took over his family. Kawakubo Nobuzane prevailed thus effectively over a wider area, the income of more than 397 kan ( 貫 earned), and dominated by also adjacent. After the military service at that time, to which the samurai were subject to protect the court in Kyoto, such riches were meticulously recorded and the owners were called to duty to prevent a seizure of power, but he was left unmolested and as a result soon took over the surrounding areas in Matsuo.
death
In 1575 he died in the Battle of Nagashino in a counterattack by Sakai Tadatsugu and Kanamori Nagachika . His death name in the Rinzen-ji temple, where he is buried, is 輪 禅寺 殿 玉麟 一 機 大 居士 .
After his death became known, his son inherited him. In 1582 the Takeda family fell, and his son Ieyasu Tokugawa immediately served . One of his descendants became a direct vassal ( Hatamoto ) of the shogun.
