Kay Dotrice
Katherine "Kay" Dotrice (* 9. May 1929 as Katherine Newman , † 2. August 2007 in Hollywood , California ) was a British actress .
Life
Katherine Newman completed her acting education at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art . There she met Roy Dotrice , whom she married in 1947. From then on she appeared as Kay Dotrice. Together with her husband, she appeared on stage in various plays by the Royal Shakespeare Company . The couple have three daughters, Karen , Michele and Yvette, who followed in their parents' footsteps. Kay Dotrice also appeared in a number of television series and films in supporting roles, such as Cheech & Chong - Far and wide no smoke in sight .
The actress died of a heart attack in 2007 at the age of 78 .
