Kayar Metin (born August 14, 1990 ) is a Liechtenstein karateka and kickboxer. In 2013, 2017 and 2018 he became WKU world champion in karate kumite in the weight class up to 75 kg.

Athletic resume

At the age of 15 Metin was accepted into the Liechtenstein youth national team. At the age of 17 he fought in the junior national team. At the age of 19 he became the Liechtenstein full contact karate champion of the WKA for the first time. In 2013 he became world champion in the weight class up to 75 kg in full contact karate for the first time. At the WKU World Championships in Athens 2018, he retired from competitive sports.
