Kaza ( Hindi काजा, Kāzā) is a place in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh and at the same time the administrative center of the sub-district Spiti in Lahaul and Spiti .

It is located on the eastern bank of the Spiti River at an altitude of approx. 3600 m and can be reached from both Rekong Peo and Manali . Its population is about 3200.

In mid-July, the Ladarcha Festival takes place in Kaza, which lasts several days and is one of the most important festivals in Himachal Pradesh.
