Kazimieras Vytautas Kryževičius

Kazimieras Vytautas Kryževičius (born November 21, 1930 in Endriejavas , Klaipėda district ; † September 12, 2004 in Kaunas ) was a Lithuanian politician.

Life

After graduating from high school in Rietavas , he studied from 1949 to 1951 and from 1962 to 1964 at the Lietuvos veterinarijos akademija . As a member of the Lietuvos laisvės kovos sąjūdis , he was convicted of anti-Soviet activity and ended up in Inta , the Soviet Republic of the Komi . He worked in coal mining. After 6 years he was given an amnesty. He worked in Kaunas for 25 years , in the Dirbtinio pluošto gamykla factory as a worker and then as a technologist. From 1992 to 2000 he was a member of the Seimas .

From 1989 he was a member and deputy chairman of Lietuvos krikščionių Demokratieų partija , as well as council member of Politinių kalinių ir tremtinių bendrija .

He had two children with his wife Elena.

His grave is in Kaunas , Petrašiūnai cemetery .
