Kazphosphate ( Kazakh Қазфосфат , Russian Казфосфат ) is a Kazakh mining and chemical company based in Almaty . Kazphosphate is mainly active in the mining of phosphorite and the production of phosphorus and other phosphorus products.

history

The company was founded on October 27, 1999.

Locations

Most of the Kazphosphate production sites are located in the Shambyl area in southern Kazakhstan. Production is coordinated from the office in Taras . White phosphorus and other phosphorus products are produced at the location north of the city . There is also a factory in Taras for the production of mineral fertilizers and other products for agriculture . There is also a chemical plant in Stepnogor . In Schymkent there is a factory for the manufacture of industrial products and consumer goods as mineral processing products, especially cleaning agents .

The plant for processing phosphorite is located near Qaratau , which is mined near the city and near Shanghai in the Qaratau phosphorus basin. The Scholaqtau complex is also located in the Qaratau area. Here, phosphorite is extracted in three mines, which is used to produce white phosphorus.
