Kazuhiko Takeda

Kazuhiko Takeda ( Japanese 竹田 一 彦 , Takeda Kazuhiko , * around 1950) is a Japanese jazz guitarist .

Kazuhiko Takeda played with Takashi Furuya and the Yoshiaki Otsuka Trio ( Solitude , 1975) in the mid-1970s . Under his own name, he first recorded the album The Good Life in 1985 , on which he can be heard with string accompaniment in changing line-ups with Kiyoshi Takeshita (piano), Shintarō Nakamura (bass) and the drummers Jimmy Cobb and Joe Jones Jr. In 2009 he recorded the live album Just in Time , with Satoru Ajimine (piano) and Kōsuke Inoue (bass). In 2012, a trio of Tsutomu Okada and Yoshihito Eto recorded the album I Thought About You , followed by Takeda Meets Tana Again (Waon 2015), which he recorded with Satoru Ajimine, Kosuke Inoue and Akira Tana . He then interpreted popular standards such as " Corcovado ", " How High the Moon ", " If You Could See Me Now ", and " Love for Sale ". In the field of jazz, Tom Lord lists him in five recording sessions between 1975 and 2015. He has also worked with singer Sandi Blair , saxophonist Ro Hasegawa and pianist Kazuo Suzuki ; he also played in a duo with the guitarist Yoshitaka Kanno .
