Kazuki Takahashi ( Japanese 高橋 和 希 , Takahashi Kazuki ; born October 4, 1961 in Tokyo ) is a Japanese mangaka (comic artist) and is known for the world-wide successful comic book Yu-Gi-Oh!

As early as 1991 he was working on series such as the wrestling story Tennenshoku Danji Buray for Shōnen Jump , the most important manga magazine in Japan , but it wasn't until 1996 that he started creating Yu-Gi-Oh! Success. In addition to the manga published by Carlsen Verlag in Germany, there are numerous video games , card games and a film about Yu-Gi-Oh! . The follow-up series Yu-Gi-Oh! GX and Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s are no longer drawn by Takahashi.

He's a fan of American comics, especially Hellboy .
