Kazunari Okayama ( Japanese 岡山 一 成 , Okayama Kazunari ; born April 24, 1978 in Osaka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Okayama learned to play soccer on the school team at Hatsushiba Hashimoto High School . He signed his first contract in 1997 with the Yokohama Marinos (today: Yokohama F. Marinos). The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . For the club he completed 17 top division games. In 1999 he was loaned to the second division Omiya Ardija . In 2000 he returned to the Yokohama F. Marinos. In 2000 he was runner-up in the J1 League with the club. For the club, he completed 13 first division games. In 2001 he moved to league rivals Cerezo Osaka . In 200 he reached the final of the Imperial Cup . For the club he completed 28 first division games. In 2002 he moved to the second division side Kawasaki Frontale . For the club he completed 73 games. In 2004 he became champions of the J2 League with the club .
