1985 Havana Interzonal Tournament

The 1985 women's interzonal tournament in Havana served to identify three further participants in the candidate competitions for the 1986 Women's World Chess Championship . The tournament took place in June 1985 in the Cuban capital Havana .

Playoff

The three players with the same points then completed a tournament for third place in Stockholm , which still entitles them to enter the candidates' tournament. Each player met each of the other two four times. Pia Cramling prevailed with 5½ points ahead of Nana Iosseliani (4½ points) and Daniela Terescenco-Nuțu (2 points).
