Kazuteru Kozai

Kazuteru Kozai ( Japanese 古 財 和 輝 , Kozai Kazuteru ; born January 25, 1986 in Kumamoto Prefecture ) is a Japanese badminton player .

Career

Kozai comes from Kumamoto Prefecture and attended the Musashigaoka Middle School in Kikuyō , then the Kumamoto Gakuen University high school in the prefecture capital Kumamoto and finally the Japanese Sports University . After completing his studies, he joined the Tonami Un'yu transport company in 2008 and has played for their works team ever since.

He had his first big success at the Japanese championships in 2006 with 3rd place in the individual. Kazuteru Kozai was 17th in the men's singles at the Summer Universiade in 2007. In the same discipline he won the Austrian International in 2009 and the Singapore International in 2011. At the 2009 Asian Cup he was fifth.
