Kazuya Maeda ( Japanese 前 田 和 哉 Maeda Kazuya ; born September 8, 1982 in Wakayama Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Maeda learned to play soccer on the university team at Osaka University of Health and Sport Sciences . He signed his first contract with Cerezo Osaka in 2005 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . At the end of the 2006 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . In 2009 he was runner-up with the club in the J2 League and rose again to the J1 League. For the club he completed 162 league games. In July 2010 he moved to league rivals Montedio Yamagata . At the end of the 2011 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. For the club he completed 61 league games. In 2013 he moved to league rivals Giravanz Kitakyushu . At the end of the 2016 season, the club was relegated to the J3 League . For the club he completed 138 league games. At the end of 2017 he ended his career as a football player.
