Kei Taniguchi ( Japanese 谷口 圭 , Taniguchi Kei ; born July 15, 1974 in Osaka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Taniguchi learned to play soccer on the school team at Minamiuwa High School . He signed his first contract with Nagoya Grampus Eight in 1993 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 1995 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . In 1996 he was runner-up in the J1 League with the club. In 1997 he moved to the second division Brummel Sendai . In 1998 he moved to Ehime FC . At the end of 2002 he ended his career as a football player.
