Keiji Ishizuka ( Japanese 石 塚 啓 次 , Ishizuka Keiji ; born August 26, 1974 in Kyoto Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Ishizuka learned to play soccer on the school team at Yamashiro High School . He signed his first contract in 1993 with Verdy Kawasaki (today: Tokyo Verdy). The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . With the club he became Japanese champions in 1993 and 1994 . In August 1997 he was loaned to the second division Consadole Sapporo . In 1998 he returned to Verdy Kawasaki . For the club he completed 103 first division games. In 2003 he moved to the second division side Kawasaki Frontale . In September 2003 he moved to the first division club Nagoya Grampus Eight . At the end of 2003 he ended his career as a soccer player.
