No god, no lord! A Little History of Anarchy is a documentary by Tancrède Ramonet that deals with the history of events in anarchism .

Tancrède Ramonet's film is based exclusively on archival documents and interviews with historians and other experts and describes the anarchist story as a history of events from the beginning to the Second World War . He only uses original recordings, for example from the Mexican Revolution and the Spanish Civil War , and images from contemporary original documents. The film is not limited to Europe and the historical events that are usually in focus, but includes developments throughout the world.

I. part

The first part has the subtitle "Lust for Destruction (1840-1914)" and contains the following chapters:

  1. 1840 - I am an anarchist
  2. 1886 - May Day
  3. 1892 Propaganda by Fact
  4. 1906 - On to action
  5. 1909 - The new man
  6. 1912 - Tragic bandits
  7. 1914 - epilogue

Part II

The second part is subtitled “Memory of the Vanquished (1911–1945)” and contains the following chapters:

  1. 1911 - Tierra y Libertad
  2. 1917 - All power to the councils
  3. 1921 - Our agony is our triumph
  4. 1926 - Strength comes from below
  5. 1936 - A las barricadas
  6. 1937 - Die for Barcelona
  7. epilogue

III. part

The third part, from 1945 to the early 21st century, was offered, according to the author Arte, but not yet produced. It is intended to span the spectrum from the smashing of anarchism in the post-war period through the uprisings in the 1960s and Situationism to the new social movements, the Autonomous and Occupy Wall Street . In 2019/2020, a crowdfunding campaign provided the means to create a third and fourth part.
